Join instructor Megan Peterson to make your own stackable rings in this tutorial!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to solder? The first piece of jewelry I ever crafted that made me feel like “wow, I made that!” was a simple stacking ring. A few years ago, I thought I’d love to pass along that excitment and teach classes on how to solder and make beautiful sterling rings.
All supplies, tools, etc. will be provided along with a list of the supplies/tools that we use in the class in case you want to continue your silversmithing journey. I will also provide hands on detailed step by step instructions and you will take home the set of 3 sterling silver stacking rings that you will create. If you can use a creme brulee torch and hold a light hammer, then I promise you that you CAN learn to make these beautiful rings.
Other things to consider:
– If you wear prescription glasses or readers, bring them as we will be working with small details, joins, etc.
– If you have long hair, bring a hair clip or rubber band to pull it back
– This class is best suited for ages 16 and up.
Create cement bowls with balloons in this workshop!
Using cement, balloons, and a sponge (that’s right!), students will be creating small decorative bowls for use and display, planters for your garden, or even candle holders. This process is messy but simple, and makes for an incredible conversation piece. We should have enough supplies for every student to make two bowls each*.
The instructor will offer up suggestions as to aftercare and different directions you can take your bowls after the cement dries so that yours will reflect your own unique interests.
Tickets are $40 per person, all supplies concluded.
Instructor: Amanda Holloway
* The instructor will provide enough supplies for each participant to make two pieces of art. However, the allotted time for this workshop might not be enough to complete two items, but participants are welcome to take home the supplies for the second item to complete on their own time.

Take your acrylic pouring skills to the next level with this acrylic pour class with Theresa Robertson!
This class is an advanced course on acrylic pouring and occurs on Sunday, December 15th from 4pm to 6pm.
Tickets are $55 per person, supplies included.
Each participant will be provided with (2) different sized canvases:
– (1) 8″x10″ canvas, for the use as the test canvas for color and technique
– (1) 18″x24″ canvas for the final art project
It is preferred that each participant have had taking the basics acrylic pouring class, as it will make the advanced class go smoother overall for all participants.
Paritipants will leave their artwork in the store at the end of the class to be placed on the drying racking within the store, as the final canvas will be too large to take home without the art shifting. Participants will be able to pick up their art work back up at ABAM 3 days after the class.
Instructor: Theresa Roberson
