Join instructor Megan Peterson to make your own stackable rings in this tutorial!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to solder? The first piece of jewelry I ever crafted that made me feel like “wow, I made that!” was a simple stacking ring. A few years ago, I thought I’d love to pass along that excitment and teach classes on how to solder and make beautiful sterling rings.
All supplies, tools, etc. will be provided along with a list of the supplies/tools that we use in the class in case you want to continue your silversmithing journey. I will also provide hands on detailed step by step instructions and you will take home the set of 3 sterling silver stacking rings that you will create. If you can use a creme brulee torch and hold a light hammer, then I promise you that you CAN learn to make these beautiful rings.
Other things to consider:
-If you wear prescription glasses or readers, bring them as we will be working with small details, joins, etc.
-If you have long hair, bring a hair clip or rubber band to pull it back
-This class is best suited for ages 16 and up.
Social distancing and disinfection practices will be implemented in the store and in the classroom to ensure participants’ health and safety. As such, classes are limited to 4-6 participants, depending on the project. We ask that all students wear masks. Thank you.
