Flaring the ring is the last part and the tricky but fun part. I will show you a couple of methods for flaring and what you should and should not do while flaring. Her previous career was as an art director in New York City. She has been working in watercolors for years. As a member of the Jacksonville Watercolor Society\, Roseann has won many awards. \nRoseann was most recently the Artist in Residence for the Arts in Medicine Program at U F Health (Shands) Hospital in Jacksonville. Previously Roseann was the Art Teacher for grades K-12 at Mainspring Academy\, and Collage School in Ponte Vedra\, both schools for students with autism and special needs. She also teaches watercolor through community education at Fletcher High School. Roseann has also demonstrated at the Cummer Museum in Jacksonville\, and has been a recipient of the Jacksonville Community Foundation Grant for Individual Artists. Her work has appeared on the cover of New Smyrna Magazine. DESCRIPTION:Join Hammer & Stain at ABAM to enjoy a fun DIY workshop on Monday\, May 24th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. \nIn this workshop\, participants (ages 14+) will learn how to hand knit their very own cozy lap blanket. \nNo prior experience is necessary. \nAn assortment of colors will be provided in the workshop to choose from when you arrive. The choices of colors are first come\, first serve. \nThese workshops are a ton of fun\, so be sure to register early to reserve your seat! \nOne project per person. \nTickets are $98 per person. \nInstructor: Dallas Alvarez of Hammer & Stain DIY Workshops \n  \nMinimum Student Requirement: Two** \nSocial distancing and disinfection practices will be implemented in the store and in the classroom to ensure participants’ health and safety.
