In this class, students will learn to use intaglio printmaking techniques from beginning to finish. They will be using an etching needle to create a custom design on their plexiglass plate to transfer into an original intaglio print.

This class will cover basic terminology and techniques on etching a design into plexiglass, drawing methods, mixing inks, inking the plate, buffing the plate, handling a brayer, and transferring a print onto paper.

This class is best suited for ages 10 and up.

The cost is $55.00 per student and all supplies are included.
