Join Melissa Kurtz for a Collage Heart Workshop on Saturday, 9/7!
In this class you will create a heart collage on a 6” x 8”, cradled wood panel. The objective of my class is to play with color, creating a beautiful, textured, abstract background, then create a heart by layering handmade papers. All materials will be provided, including handmade papers, heavy body and fluid acrylic paints, paint pens, glue, brushes and tools. The techniques I will be teaching are different ways of tearing and applying paper, a little color theory for creating custom colors, and how to use a palette knife.
