2-Day Pottery Workshop: Birds of a Feather *DAY 2*

Join Visual Arts Educator Rebecca Cornelius, @beachtobayclay on Instagram, for a clay hand-building workshop, “Birds of a Feather”
In this two-part workshop students will sculpt a clay bird using the pinch method during the first class and will learn glazing techniques in the second class after the firing is completed. The stages of ceramics, (wet, leatherhard, bone dry, bisqueware and glazeware), will be introduced during the process.
This is a two-part class with 2 weeks in between for drying time, firing, and glazing. The dates for the workshop are:
- Monday, January 16th from 2:00pm-4:00pm
- Wednesday, February 1st from 5:30pm-7:30pm
This workshop is designed for ages 12+ with no prior clay experience necessary.
