In this five-day art camp, young artists will create art inspired by woodland animals and stories about the woods! We will explore the use of different art media to draw, paint, glue, and construct our way through the week. Be sure to plan a walk-through of our “gallery” of art on Friday at pick-up!

A snack will be provided each day. Campers will need to bring a reusable water bottle and lunch.

This workshop occurs from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, daily, from Monday, June 17th to Friday, June 21st.

Instructor: Christy Maurer

Instructor bio: Christy Maurer has been teaching children of all ages for 30 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Florida. She believes in the Reggio Emilia approach to learning through discovery. In her spare time, Ms. Christy enjoys spending time with her children, traveling with friends, running on the beach, practicing yoga, reading, and cooking.
